Akua Antwiwaa Fordjour is the founding Excutive Director of AFA IMPACT FOUNDATION, a registered nonprofit organization in Ghana that exist to create a world full of impact for men, women children and all. Her organization provides logical solution to promote, ensure, highlight and impact individuals fully.
It’s has being a creative resolution set up to take up issues relating to the right of the individual by invoking the constitutional remedies available under the law.
Akua started her high school education at Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High in Kumasi, Ghana. Being education driven, she continued to Wesley college of education and completed with a diploma in Basic education in French in 2016. By her selfless being an enthusiastic nature, she was given the mantle to lead as the SRC women’s commissioner between the year 2015/2016.
She did not stop there, she again furthered to attain her bachelor’s Degree in French education from University of Cape Coast,Ghana. She was invited by the leadership of the SRC to be part of the planning commitee, whose main aim was to plan all events concerning the student body. A citation in honor of this role was given by the leadership of the SRC from the University of Cape Coast.
Akua is currently a resident in Columbus Ohio, USA and has pledge to continue all the good things she started in Ghana without hesitation. She holds several certifications high has played a key role in building her foundation. And one of these overwhelming certifications was she cited as the mental health Ambassador in the year 2022.
Her greatest belief is that, impact can be created in the least way you never expected. Sometimes it’s all not about money, but to her,your smile and her smile can cause a great impact.
She’s aimed at creating a very big impact in Ghana, Africa and around the world.
Dr. Peter Darkwa Gyasi, is a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist with over 13 years’ experience in health service, having worked from the facility to regional level. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He also holds Master of Health Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon. Peter is a Fellow of the West African Post-Graduate College of Pharmacy (FPCPharm) with sub-specialization in pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance.
He is a member of the Ghana’s Medicine Pricing Committee, Health Technology Assessment Committee, and an active member of the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR)
He has worked extensively with Ghana’s National Health Insurance Authority in various roles as an external clinician for Clinical/Compliance audit, Assessor for facility assessment leading to Credentialing and as a member of the NHIA maiden Actuarial Study Team.
He is a trained quality improvement coach by the Institute of Healthcare Improvement, USA.
Currently, Peter is the Head of Health Insurance Coordination Office under the Office of Director General, Ghana Health Service. His interest areas are health financing, economic evaluations and Health Technology Assessments.
